why did you choose to remain stock body instead of widebody?
I chose to stick with the stock body over the wide body simply because I appreciate the stock body a whole lot more. The lines of the car make it a phenomenal looking coupe, with just the right amount of aggressiveness in the right places. I’ve seen many wide bodies so I wanted to stay in my own lane and see how I can bring out the most of an already amazing chassis of car.
what do you think separates your build amongst other 86s?
What I think separates me is the fact that I have a mixture of both real aggressive fitment, while also having a balance of simplicity where it counts. Allowing me to be noticed in any crowd, in any situation. I’ve also taken inspiration from other 86’s to truly make it my own, and not just another stanced out ‘86.
What are your future plans for the build?
As of right now my future plans involve a lot of horse power gains. Anyone who has driven this platform can tell you it’s missing a lot of power, knowing this car wasn’t made to be fast in a straight line to begin with. So it’s either building the current FA20 or possibly a future swap to really set this car apart. I also have plans to make the car into a stanced our street car with actual power, but still breaks necks every time you see it.
What made you build a BRZ?
As I recall it was mid May 2013 in the afternoon going home from school when I first seen the first FRS in Boston. The silver color and the aggressive front end had me amazed as to finally seeing something cool around my part of the city, from that moment it’s always been stuck in my head. I’ve always had an ambition for power and drifting, and from reading up and seeing what the ‘86 can do, I knew from that moment on I’d get one some day.
